   The A5 CPU should make its presence felt in processor-intensive tasks, even if it doesn’t noticeably speed up the general operation of the iPhone. We looked for an effect in Safari: processor performance will impact on the speed of handling JavaScript, and we previously saw how the A5 processor helped here when the iPad 2 was released.

   Dag Kittlaus, a 34-year-old from Norway, is living an American dream with his wife and three kids in a nice Chicago suburb. His life took a turn for the better following a special phone call from Apple last year. Norwegian publication E24!, which profiled the entrepreneur in a lengthy article, explains that Steve Jobs himself bothered to give Kittlaus a buzz. The reason?

   Few will argue that Siri is mind-bogglingly great when it works. Speaking right into your iPhone and having it do your bidding is about as awesome as it gets, but it does have some limitations.

Not being able to tell Siri to interact with third-party apps is one such limitation, and it is the reason that many have sought ways to get around the restriction. You can use SMS to update Twitter and Facebook, and it has also led to Evernote blogging about an easy way to use Siri with the popular service.

   Apple lately reported in a support email that it has no plans to take Siri to older iDevices, and many are wanting to know why. If it’s just a issue of software, then Apple’s choice to not take Siri to non-4S devices can be seen as a simple marketing trick. If other devices can operate Siri like the iPhone 4S, then why not make it accessible for absolutely everyone?
